Adele shocks fans by confirming huge rumor live on stage
Adele, the 16-time Grammy winner, has officially confirmed her engagement to sports agent Rich Paul, putting an end to months of speculation.
The announcement came during her concert in Munich, Germany, when a fan jokingly proposed to her. Adele responded with a smile,
''I can't marry you because I'm already getting married so I can't,'' as she proudly held up her left hand, revealing her engagement.
The crowd erupted in cheers as Adele shared the news.
While she wasn't wearing a ring during the performance, the British singer has been spotted with a stunning pear-shaped diamond on multiple occasions, including at her Las Vegas residency and the Brit Awards in 2022.
Adele and Rich Paul, who represents NBA stars like LeBron James, have been together for three years, first meeting at a party in 2019.
They made their public debut as a couple at the NBA Finals in July 2021.
Previously, Adele was married to British charity entrepreneur Simon Konecki, with whom she shares a son, Angelo.
