Elon Musk's recent comments about his transgender daughter, claiming she was "killed" by the "woke mind virus" and attributing her transition to left-wing propaganda, have sparked controversy.
In an interview with Jordan Peterson on Daily Wire, Musk elaborated on his views, referring to his daughter by her birth name and expressing his regret over signing off on her medical treatments.
During the interview, Musk referred to Vivian by her birth name, acknowledging it as her "deadname," and expressed that he feels his child is "gone" since her transition.
He recounted that Vivian decided to transition during the pandemic and claimed he was "tricked" into signing medical paperwork for her treatments.
Musk said he was told that not signing off could result in his daughter taking her own life, a decision he now regrets.
Elon Musk, who has been vocal about his opposition to what he terms the
"woke mind virus," reiterated his stance, calling the allowance of child transitions "incredibly evil."
He vowed to continue fighting against this ideology, using his platform on X (formerly Twitter) to push his agenda.
Musk shares Vivian with his ex-wife Justine Wilson, whom he divorced in the 2000s.
