Lil Yachty recently spilled the beans on how his unreleased track "Supersoak," featuring Drake, ended up getting leaked.

During his appearance on Andrew Schulz's Flagrant podcast with Akaash Singh, the Atlanta rapper explained that the track couldn't be officially released due to a sample clearance issue.

The sample, taken from viral comic Mr. Hotspot, was denied clearance because the comic has since shifted towards a more Christian lifestyle and refused to allow the use of his work.
Yachty shared,
''I sent a song to Kai to leak. ... We couldn't get the sample cleared, so I just let Kai play it,'' revealing that the song was intentionally leaked through popular streamer Kai Cenat. When asked about the quality of the song, Yachty nonchalantly responded, ''Shit, it's still out there.''

Despite the setback with the sample, Yachty didn't seem too bothered by the leak.
He noted that there wasn't even a discussion about money with Mr. Hotspot before the sample was declined.
''I don't think we got into money; he was like, 'No,'' Yachty recounted.

As for Kai Cenat, he's not only leaking exclusive tracks but also climbing the media ranks, landing at No. 3 on Complex's 2024 Hip-Hop Media Power list.
While Mr. Hotspot may have stepped back from the social media spotlight, Cenat continues to shine, making waves in the hip-hop community.
