Olympic champ Noah Lyles handles gold medal glory and boyfriend duties in Paris

Fresh from winning the 100m final at the Olympics, Noah Lyles was unexpectedly picking up his girlfriend Junelle Bromfield's running spikes at 2 am in Paris.

Bromfield, a Jamaican 400m runner, had forgotten them at their massage therapist's Airbnb near the athletes' village.

''Here I am, Olympic champion of the 100m, and I am waddling in my girlfriend's room with all the stuff. I'm a good boyfriend.''

After his win, Lyles skipped the typical post-victory celebrations. He spent the night peeing in a bottle for drug tests, doing media interviews, and getting a massage.

In addition to his 100m victory, Lyles performed well in the 200m heats, securing a place in the semi-finals with a time of 20.19s.

As he continues to compete, Lyles also plans to prioritize time with Bromfield, aiming to be a better boyfriend.

''I'm trying to give her a lot more time for us to be a couple, he shared, looking forward to a well-deserved break post-Olympics.
