Los Angeles rapper Blueface has been handed a four-year prison sentence for violating his probation, stemming from a 2021 incident in which he assaulted a security guard at a San Fernando Valley club.
The sentencing took place on Friday, August 9, with Blueface's father, Johnathan Porter, and his manager, Wack 100, confirming the news via social media.
When the rapper attempted to use a Googled image of himself as proof of his celebrity status, the bouncer didn't accept it, leading to the alleged assault. The victim was hospitalized with injuries requiring stitches.
While the initial sentence was set at four years, Wack 100 clarified that due to time already served, Blueface's sentence has been reduced to three years. With further deductions, he is expected to serve about nine to ten months before being released.
