Reports suggest that Vice President Kamala Harris could offer Meghan a job in her new administration IF she wins the election.

Meghan Markle is reportedly seeking to leverage her relationship with US Vice President Kamala Harris to elevate her public image, according to a royal expert.

The Duchess of Sussex has previously expressed her admiration for Harris, suggesting that she fully supports the Democratic nominee for the presidential election.

The Duchess's political views were kept under wraps while she and Prince Harry were members of the Royal Family.

However, Meghan openly discussed the significance of Harris being chosen as Joe Biden's running mate during a panel with Gloria Steinem in August 2019.

''The heart of the Democratic Party has been Black women. And now there is a potential vice president who is Black, and that's exciting.''

''We saw Kamala Harris tweet in support of Meghan Markle. Meghan Markle is desperate for power, this is her way in. She will try to attach herself to Kamala Harris because it will elevate her.''

During her discussion with Ms. Steinem four years ago, Meghan elaborated on her thoughts about Harris being chosen as Biden's running mate.

''You know, for me, being biracial, growing up, whether it was a doll or a person in office, you need to see someone who looks like you in some capacity. As many of us believe, you can only be what you can see. And in the absence of that, how can you aspire to something greater than what you see in your own world? I think maybe now we're starting to break-through in a different way,'' Meghan said.

The panel also discussed the potential impact of Meghan joining Harris's administration. Richard Eden believes it would do ''terminal damage to Anglo-American relations'' while The Mail on Sunday's Natasha Livingstone says it would be a ''real headache'' for the ''non-political'' British Royal Family.

Meghan's attempts to align herself with Harris could be seen as a strategic move to boost her public profile and influence in the political sphere.
