Kendrick Lamar and Drake's ongoing feud has officially reached the pinnacle of pop culture recognition: it was a clue on Jeopardy!
The high-profile beef, which has been a major talking point throughout 2024, took center stage during last night's (July 16) episode of the famous quiz show.
In the Double Jeopardy! round, one of the categories was aptly titled ''Diss-track-tions.''
''In May 2024, these 2 competitors went back & forth with tracks like �Family Matters' & �Meet The Grahams.''
One contestant correctly answered,
''Who are Kendrick Lamar and Drake?''
Per J! Archive, the Diss-track-tions category also included references to other notable rap beefs such as Eminem vs. The Game, Tupac vs. The Notorious B.I.G., 50 Cent vs. Cam'ron, and Nas vs. Jay-Z.
Impressively, the contestants managed to answer all the clues correctly.
The Jeopardy! episode, taped on May 23, featured questions about all the tracks currently linked to the Drake/Kendrick feud up to that point, though it aired before the release of Kendrick Lamar's «Not Like Us» video. Lamar's «Not Like Us» has not only topped the charts but also got a mention at the ESPYs, further solidifying the feud's impact on 2024's music scene.
Interestingly, while the feud appears to be simmering down, Drake is dealing with more immediate concerns. Recent extreme weather in Toronto has caused significant flooding, leaving his mansion filled with water.
