TV Star Lachlan Kennedy's wild Wiki scandal amid divorce and romance rumors

Lachlan Kennedy, a prominent Network Ten presenter, found himself at the center of a media storm following a "horrendous" Wikipedia entry that became the talk of the Australian TV industry.
The shocking edit, published over the weekend, made defamatory claims about Kennedy, which cannot be repeated for legal reasons.
A Ten spokesperson was quick to denounce the entry as "inaccurate" and "untrue," adding further controversy to Kennedy's personal life.
The edit appeared just as Kennedy announced his separation from his wife, naturopath Cassie Davenport, and was romantically linked to Channel Nine's federal political reporter Liz Daniels.
Kennedy described the situation as "horrendous," expressing his distress to Daily Mail Australia. The controversial paragraph was first added to Wikipedia on July 13 at 2.22pm by an anonymous editor and was promptly removed by another user citing lack of evidence.
Despite being re-added shortly after, it was removed once more.
A Network Ten spokesperson reiterated the falsehood of the claims, while Davenport confirmed their separation and expressed their commitment to co-parenting their children. "Lachlan is a great father to our boys," she stated, dismissing the Wikipedia claims as false.
The scandal has intensified scrutiny on Kennedy's personal life, with reports linking him to Liz Daniels. Daniels refused to comment on the romance rumors, simply saying "no" before hanging up.
In response to the media frenzy, Kennedy has largely withdrawn from social media, deleting posts referencing his wife and reducing his online presence.
Kennedy, who joined Network Ten in 2010 and became a national news bulletin presenter in 2022, has seen his career overshadowed by personal turmoil.
His separation from Davenport, whom he met at Ten's Pyrmont offices in 2017, and his alleged new relationship with Daniels, have made headlines.
