JLo & Ben Affleck not talking: What's behind the silent feud?

Sources close to the situation tell TMZ that J Lo and Ben aren't speaking to each other, either in person or over the phone, which has caused significant delays in finalizing their divorce agreement.

Despite having a prenup and only needing to divide their shared Beverly Hills mansion, which is currently on the market, the couple's icy relationship is the main hurdle.

Neither J Lo nor Ben has hired divorce lawyers yet, opting instead to have their respective business managers handle the financial aspects of the split.

However, the lack of direct communication between the two stars has made even this straightforward division challenging.

TMZ previously reported that the Beverly Hills estate is listed for $68 million, while Ben recently closed on a $20.5 million mansion in Brentwood.

Interestingly, Ben closed escrow on his new home on the same day Jennifer turned 55, though sources insist this is just a coincidence and there is no love lost between them.

As it stands, Ben and J Lo are expected to hire divorce attorneys eventually, but no legal documents will be filed until they agree on a settlement.

Until the two start communicating again, the divorce process will continue to progress slowly.
