In a hilarious turn of events, Simone Biles' mom, Nellie Biles, called out Snoop Dogg during an opening ceremony interview with NBC at the Paris Olympics.
Recalling a past encounter, she didn't shy away from reminding Snoop about a snub that happened years ago.
Nellie shared a story from 2010 when she and Simone were in New York City and asked Snoop Dogg for a picture in Times Square.
Despite Snoop's promise to take a photo with them in "two minutes," he vanished without fulfilling the request.
Nellie humorously recounted,
''I will never forget that we met you in Times Square. 2010. And you said�'cause we asked for a picture�two minutes. One, two, and you were gone [laughs].'' Snoop laughed off the comment, showing his good-natured spirit.
Snoop Dogg has been making waves at the 2024 Olympics, commentating for NBC and Peacock.
Additionally, he served as a torchbearer for the opening ceremony, a role he spoke about with great emotion.
Reflecting on the honor, he mentioned seeing Muhammad Ali at the Olympics in 1996,
''It was emotional for all of us to see the champ holding that torch and walking up there,'' he said. ''This is my own version of it. I don't want to get too emotional, but I know that this is special. This says a lot about America as far as where we're at in this world [] I would have never dreamed of nothing like this.''
